Dr. Lo is a Chartered Accountant in England & Wales and a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (FCA, CPA/CA), Fellow member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb.), a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS) and a Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP). Dr. Lo is the Founder & Principal of the CIC Group of Companies, an entity specializes in impact investments and advisory.
Dr. Lo was formerly an Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Finance of Ka Wah Bank Limited (now Citic Bank International), General Manager of Finance of Chekiang First Bank Limited (now OCBC-Wing Hang) and Deputy Chief Executive of MSH Capital, an affiliate of Seng Heng Bank (now ICBC Macau). To begin his own investment partnerships directly, he became a Managing Partner of AsiaVest Partners Limited, a licensed corporation under Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission for Type 1, 4, 6 & 9 licenses in 2002. AsiaVest Partners Limited was acquired by the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank of PRC in 2014 for her international investment banking services, and Dr. Lo remained as Executive Director of SPDB International until July 2016. He became the Executive Director and Responsible Officer of another SFC licensed advisory Firm in Hong Kong, commenced the listing of the Entity in 2018 and as of 2026 February, he retired from the Listed Company to pursue more private equity deals instead.
Dr. Lo had served as the Vice Chairman of a Canadian Venture Capital Company, a Singapore MAS registered, licensed asset management firm and the Chairman of a Qianhai, Shenzhen registered private asset management Fund. He was also the non-executive Chairman of a Forbes Best Company under $1 billion listed entity in Hong Kong. Dr. Lo holds doctorate degree in business administration (BBA,DBA) and read Law in USA and Hong Kong (JD.LLM). He had participated back in late 1980's for the joint-venture setup between Apotex and a Chinese bioscience entity and the acquisition of Pheonix Steel of USA by Citic Group, and the Sydney Steel of Nova Scotia M&A by a Chinese Group, while serving as Principal in Canada with Price Waterhouse, Toronto.
He served as member of the Board of Directors in multiple listed Companies in Hong Kong over the years, and now, an independent non-executive director of the largest Financial Assets Management Company in the PRC, The China Citic Financial Asset Management Co. Ltd., and was retained recently as an Advisor of Eloro Resources Asia.
