Board of Directors

Thomas Larsen is an executive in the resources sector with over 40 years of experience in the investment industry, specializing in corporate finance and management of junior resource companies, raising in excess of $150 million. Mr. Larsen is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Eloro Resources Ltd. (TSXV-ELO) and Cartier Iron Corporation (CSE-CFE). Additionally, Mr. Larsen previously held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Champion Iron Limited, an appointment he assumed on the completion of the merger of Australian-based Mamba Minerals Ltd. and TSX-listed Champion Iron Mines Limited to continue as Champion Iron Limited effective April 1, 2014. Prior to that merger he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Champion Iron Mines Limited, now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Champion Iron Limited.

Alexander Horvath was the President of A.S. Horvath Engineering Inc. and brings over 35 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining to Eloro. Mr. Horvath was also formerly Champion Iron Limited’s Chief Operating Officer (retired in 2017), having joined Champion’s subsidiary company as a director in 2007 and as Executive Vice President, Exploration in 2008.

Francis Sauve is an entrepreneur based in south-western Ontario and has over 30 years of in-depth experience with publicly traded resource corporations as a director and investor. He joined Eloro Resources as an independent director in 2002 and is also a director of Cartier Iron Corporation (CFE-CSE).

Dusan Berka has over 40 years of international experience in engineering, marketing and sales, and business administration. During the past 34 years, Mr. Berka has served as a Director and Officer of various public companies traded on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange and the NASDAQ system in the USA.

Mr. Richard Stone is a highly experienced financial services executive, starting his career in 1979. In 1994 he founded Stone Asset Management Limited serving as Chairperson, CEO and CIO. Mr. Stone’s board experience includes private, public and philanthropic boards. He holds the Institute of Corporate Directors Designation (ICD.D). He currently serves as an Independent Director of TSX listed, Eloro Resources Ltd., serves as Chairperson for TSX-V listed Golden Star Capital Ventures Inc. and Foster & Associates Financial Services as Chairperson.

Mr. Pablo Ordoñez has been a Partner (Tax) at PPO Abogados in Bolivia since 2020. Prior to that, Mr. Ordoñez was a Partner (Tax) at Ferrere Abogados from 2016 to 2020.

Caroline Carthcart was with RP Investment Advisors LP (fixed income asset manager) from 2015 to 2023 as Chief Legal & Administrative Officer, Head of Client Engagement, Co-Head of Business Development & Client Service, Head of Client Service (consecutively). She has been a member of the Independent Review Committee of Northwest & Ethical Investments and Independent ReviCST Savings Inc & CST Spark Inc since 2023. Ms. Cathcart has also been a Director of Nature United since 2018, acting as Chair since 2022, and Chair of Finance & Audit Committee from 2018-2022.
